Scope of works
Lack of scope definition is one of the major causes of mining projects cost overruns. Capturing scope is essential to develop realistic costs and timelines. This must be developed by the TEAM especially for brown field projects where operations are live.

Cost Estimate
Another major cause of mining project overruns is that cost control for execution projects are poorly set up at the beginning of a project. It is essential that the project CAPEX is measured against the baseline estimate to identify problems early on so that corrections can be made.

Schedule
If scope is well defined it is easier to plan and resource the project correctly.

Contracting Strategy
It is critical that the contracting strategy is set up early in the project. This will impact cost and schedule if not well planned. Contracting strategy will depend on few things, namely; country, province, available contractors, project director, contract forms etc. Inteloc focus on reducing project interfaces from engineering to construction to improve project timelines and quality.

He has exposure to small and large projects.
His experience with different size projects and various project contracting strategies provide insight, and the tools to safeguard project health and ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
